The Club shopping centre in Pretoria on track for April opening

Residents of Hazelwood in Pretoria can look forward to the launch of The Club Shopping centre when it officially opens its doors on 24 April 2014.
The Club Shopping Centre is part of the mixed-use node, The Club, situated in Hazelwood, Pretoria and a stone’s throw away from Pretoria Country Club, from which it draws its name.
Developed by property and development company Atterbury, the centre will introduce variety of retail and restaurant options, all in close proximity to the exclusive Waterkloof and Brooklyn suburbs.
Atterbury’s full redevelopment of the The Club began in January 2013, an ambitious project designed to create a contemporary, upscale 8,400sqm retail and leisure destination.
The Club enjoys convenient access from the new Garsfontein offramp on the N1 highway.
Gerrit van den Berg of Atterbury says: “The Club is expected to become one of Pretoria’s most well-known and desirable landmarks through its sophisticated modern design that also incorporates elements of Pretoria’s rich architectural history.”
Woolworths will be the anchor tenant at The Club Shopping Centre, while other exciting restaurants and retailers will include the likes of Beluga, Harissa, Life Grand Café, Knead Bakery, Paul Mitchell The Salon, Essential Life, Divine Diva and Sorbet.
Atterbury has further office developments planned for The Club. This will extend its mixed-use attractions in response to market demand, including the development of more A-grade office space, a gym as well as residential apartments.
