Fontis Development introduces a R180 million shopping destination of choice with the much anticipated development of Boitekong Mall North West Province; a dynamic, vibrant and unique Community Shopping Centre currently in the final stages of completion.

Situated on the corner of Thlou Street and the P16-2, a main arterial road that links Rustenburg to Sun City and Thabazimbi; Boitekong Mall, currently at 19, 000m² has great accessibility in an area with good public transport infrastructure; and will in future be extended to 40, 000m².

Apart from Boitekong Mall, no formal retail offering exists around Boitekong, as the area is characterised by mining activities and lower income housing, resulting in consumers having to travel to the Rustenburg CBD to do their shopping which is an 8km travelling distance, requiring the consumer to catch two taxis each way.

Construction began during August 2011, and will conclude in April 2012 with the modern, minimalistic and classy designed centre launching to the public on the 26th April 2012; boasting state of the art security and modern amenities taking the newest trends in ergonomics into account.

With 49 stores, 800 parking bays and parking for 18 taxis; alongside secured anchor Shoprite and the achievement of a phenomenal balance between retail, services and entertainment with the inclusion of strong furniture, homeware, fashion, fast-food components and major national brands; Boitekong Mall is both a destination of choice and where tradition meets modernity.
