5 immaculate game farms in the Vaalwater to be brought under the hammer
On Friday October 28, Auction Alliance will be hosting a Mini Multiple Agricultural Auction at the Mapatamacha Game Centre in the Vaalwater region in Limpopo, in which 5 prime game farms in the Vaalwater will be brought under the hammer.
“We are currently experiencing a strong demand for Game Farms within a 200 to 250 kilometre radius from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The Vaalwater area is a little further out, but has proven to be the exception, and has been extremely popular over the last few years amongst investors”, says Martin Van Zyl of Auction Alliance.
Included in the auction, is Portion 4 of the Farm Nooitgedacht, a 279ha commercial farm situated less than 10 kilometres away from the Vaalwater. The farm offers 6 thatched chalets, a main lodge building with a restaurant and trophy room, 3 garden cottages, a 4 bedroom main house with lapa and pool, butchery facilities and large sheds. Farm Slypsteen, a 170 ha undeveloped farm, offering an ideal lodge development opportunity, is situated adjacent to Portion 4 of the Farm Nooitgedacht, and will be included in its sale.
Haakdoornpan, another farm which will be offered, is a 1465ha hunting farm, situated 60 kilometres from Lepahalale. The farm is perfectly suited for game breeding, and home to over 660 head of game in 15 species including Gemsbuck and Eland. Improvements include a main house with lapa and pool, a 260 m² barn with a fully equipped butchery as well as a micro light hanger with landing strip. All implements and equipment on the farm will be included in the sale.
Prisma Game Ranch, the third property which will be offered, comprises 2 properties namely Farm Dedimus and Farm Kaalfontein, which will be sold separately. Farm Dedimus is an immaculately developed 1025ha hunting farm, which will be sold as a going concern. The property features a large main house, hunter’s lodge and chalets built over a large dam. The farm offers an existing game breeding camp, and game includes Blesbuck, Giraffe, Kudu and Bushbuck. Farm Kaalfontein is an 857ha fully fenced game farm, located adjacent to Dedimus.
Thaba Tala Game Farm, the fifth property which will be offered, is a 447ha family game farm set in the Waterberg Biosphere. The farm offers a 3 bedroom main house, a large separate entertainment lapa with plunge pool and a guest cottage. The property is entirely game fenced, and home to Kudu, Wildebeest and Zebra amongst other species of game.
