Nicolway Bryanston Shopping Centre in Sandton reports sharp increase in retail trade.

Nicolway Bryanston shopping centre in Sandton achieved record turnovers in December 2012, proving popular with shoppers for its first festive season after opening in April last year.

Jandemie Olwage, Centre Manager of Nicolway Bryanston reports the centre’s shoppers’ baskets were the biggest yet during the holiday season.

Shopper numbers at Nicolway Bryanston peaked on Saturday, 1 December 2012. Friday’s were the busiest day of every week at the centre, in the December build-up to Christmas.

While the centre’s retailers reported strong trade across the board, it was Nicolway Bryanston’s restaurants that notched up sky-high popularity.

“Our restaurants were fully booked almost every night during December,” reports Olwage. With service under the stars on beautiful South African summer nights, it is little wonder that Nicolway Bryanston was Sandton’s festive dining hot spot.
