Revamped Killarney Mall welcomes a feast of entertainment and dining
Revamped Killarney Mall entertainment, restaurants and retail shops.
A whole new dimension in entertainment, restaurants and retail has been revealed at Killarney Mall.
Situated in the heart of Joburg’s northern suburbs, Killarney Mall is unveiling a new variety of dining, entertainment and shopping favourites in May – making it Joburg’s newest and most exciting entertainment hot-spot.
Food fundis can enjoy an enticing selection of eateries which have been added to the centre. Succulent Jozi Steakhouse, seafood favourite Ocean Basket, Italian cuisine maestro Del Forno Cucina, the stylish Indian spice of The Capital and famous “Chow-Patty” food from Mumbai Cafe have all made a grand entry to Killarney Mall this month.
These eateries have joined the already established list of restaurants at the centre, including the revamped Mugg & Bean as well as the recent edition to the centre Europa, which is fast becoming a firm favourite venue in the area. Kauai, Seattle Coffee Company, Juicy Lucy, Spice of India and Wimpy are also all on the menu at Killarney Mall.
The centre has undergone a facelift in order to house the exciting new Killarney CineCentre which is opened in early May and has secured top eateries and retailers to further enhance the centre’s vast offering. Killarney Mall is owned by Octodec Investments Ltd and managed by City Property Administration.
“Our team management team been hard at work securing the optimum tenant mix for our shoppers,” says Debra Sharnock, Centre Manager of Killarney Mall. “The new Killarney CineCentre has opened to much fanfare, and shoppers can expect the finest in dining and shopping in addition to the cinema complex.”
Other developments on the retail front include the new fashion stores Suave 212 men’s boutique and Pick n Pay clothing, both opening during May. Emmanuel Art also recently opened at the centre. Joining Killarney Mall in July will be ladies’ upmarket funky fashion retailer Urban Vibe and the enticingly delicious Cinnabon.
The main attraction, the Killarney CineCentre, boasts the first full-3D cinema complex in the country with five screens totaling 708 seats. Each screen has the latest in 3D technology available as well as state-of-the-art Dolby Digital surround sound. It is the only totally 3D cinema multiplex that has the facility to screen 3D movies in any of its cinemas. Brought to movie-goers by the Avalon Group, the new cinema complex will showcase a variety of latest in Hollywood and Bollywood blockbusters.

The Office Towers at Killarney Mall have also undergone a recent renovation, and now boast stylish and modern offices which are also conveniently located near the Post Office, various banks and other amenities within the centre.
