Attacq has realised a 15.5% rise in net asset value (NAV) per share to R17.06 in the year to June from the year-earlier period.
The property development fund said on Tuesday that its net rental income rose 47.6% to R954m and total vacancy rate edged up to 4% from 3.3%.
Attacq’s portfolio includes Waterfall Business Estate in Midrand‚ Garden Route Mall in George and Eikestad Mall in Stellenbosch.
The company‚ which debuted on the JSE in 2013‚ said the long-awaited 131‚038m² Mall of Africa was on track to open in April next year.
The mall is expected to act as a strong catalyst for demand for premises in the surrounding Waterfall City land parcel‚ which has a further 651‚911m² of bulk available for development.
