Broll Property Group today said it has acquired WSP Group Africa`s facilities management unit, and the business will operate as Broll Facilities Management.

The merger will bring a total of 6 million square meters of floor space under the division’s management across 15 countries in Africa.

The company will have a staff complement in excess of 200 people operating in various areas of specialisation. The introduction of a 24/7/365 days a year call centre will also add enormous value to the current offerings.
 
Broll operates in Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi, Namibia, and South Africa and is an affiliate of CBRE. The CBRE Group headquartered in Los Angeles is the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm.

The business will be headed by Rowland Gurnell, former COO of WSP Facilities Management. He will lead a world class team of customer-centric professionals focused on improving efficiencies in the built environment.
